Real quick paragraph (ok a couple), ’cause that’s all anybody needs about this one!: 19 (18?) year-old convicted felon from Florida, Rapper Kodak Black just got out of jail “about a day ago” (just kidding “haha” song reference, more like a month) and is already in some (although legal) “trouble”…
The young rap star [presumably] accidentally(?) dropped his phone during a Live Stream online today, December 28, 2016. The problem laying in the where: in the f***ing bathroom, in the mothaf***in’ shower, with no g**damn shorts [any] on!!!
Yeah, that’s about it… or all you really need to know, before responding with whatever comes to mind… probably a lackluster meme like everyone and their momma. Ugh. Idk how I feel about this, but it’s pretty darn ridiculous: just saw this kid live in Los Angeles at the Novo on December 23 and was not expecting him to slip up so soon (yet actually relatively late in his professional career, explained later), or if at all, considering his last album Lil B. I. G. Pac has a lot to live up to, if Kodak is in fact who he claims he is [in his music].
Kodak first received recognition at about 17 years old, when rap (pop?) star Drake posted a video “dancing” to Kodak’s banger at the time, Skrrt, probably bringing the phrase back into the scene since…; in reference to the young rapper’s pracically prophesized up and coming stardom, another current rap star by the stage name 21 Savage dropped his own banger Skrt on his mixtape with top-dog producer of Future, MetroBoomin. Black has been rapping since a youngin and even had a music video (song called “Ambition”) from when he was 14 re-released on YouTube, which just adds to the rapper’s real-life credibility, something even the king of now,Drake, does not truly have; in other words, Kodak really could be the second coming of the likes 2Pac and/or Biggie, amongst other greats.
Despite all this great talk and story behind Kodak, he still seems to be the young juvenile kid you’d expect from an 18 year old, though very much on another level of ambition and consistency, which is necessary of such a real “gangster” rapper in order to achieve genuine success. The “kid” is doing just about everything right, and looking to change his rough past (which has probably been even rougher than 21 Savage, who claims to be the realest deal, minus the videos of him riding on the back of Meek Mill’s motorcycle / ATV and being called gay / homo). All of this adds up to Kodak being the new “real deal” of hip hop and the music industry, minus this current fuck up of dropping his phone while naked and exposing his self-proclaimed (and by everybody on the internet) “Lil Kodak”; that was his best response to what happened after on Twitter, that “everbody’s girlfriend was zooming [into the LiveStream] to see [his] Lil’ Kodak.” Clever. Oh gosh, kinda cringe, with Love, from Yung Savi.
On to 2017, “this” Lil’ Kodak, the finesse kid and fans.
HAPPY new year’s…!?!
